Win streaks pay.
Pokémon Arena is real-time Pokémon battles in the browser. You steer your fighter, aim its moves and dodge the other side's. Every paid fight you win adds points to your streak. Between fights you cash the streak out in SOL from the pot, or fight on for more. One loss and the streak is gone.

A share of the pot
A cash-out takes a share of the pot that grows with your streak: 25% of the pot for a streak of 800 points or more (about seven wins), less below that, falling faster than the points, so one long streak pays more than several short ones. One transfer is never more than ◎0.5; the smallest is ◎0.0007.
| Streak | Points (average wins) | Cash-out now |
|---|
A win is worth 100 points × (1 + 0.15 per win on the opponent's streak, up to 8) × (0.85 to 1.15 by your team's HP left).
The coin's creator fees
- Every trade of $ARENA pays a creator fee. The game claims it every few seconds.
- 2% of every claim buys $ARENA on the market and burns it.
- The rest goes to the pool. 30% of each claim goes into the pot at once; the reserve refills the pot at 25% of itself an hour, and the pot never holds more than 30% of the pool.
- So however many players cash out at once, no more than the pot can leave: a rush only makes each cash-out smaller until the pot refills. Total paid can never exceed what came in.
- Every cash-out, claim and burn is on the public ledger below, with its transaction.
Streaks are earned
- Matchmaking is random. A win over the same account, network or address within an hour scores nothing.
- Two players on one network never meet in the paid queue.
- An opponent's first 3 paid fights score a third: fresh accounts cannot feed a main.
- If nobody else is queued, another fighter takes the seat after a few seconds. Fights are decided by the server; the page only sends what you press.
- Leaving a fight, or staying disconnected for 10 seconds, loses it. A server restart keeps every fight and every streak.
- vs CPU, Training and private rooms are free and never paid. Legendaries fight in the free modes only.
Steer, aim, dodge
- Keyboard + mouse: WASD to move, aim with the mouse, LMB · RMB · Q · E for the four moves, SPACE to dodge, 1 · 2 · 3 to switch, R to evolve. Phone: a stick on the left, drag a move button to aim it and let go to use it.
- Every move has a cooldown and PP. Close moves (slashes, bites, rushes) and ranged ones (shots, beams, waves, strikes from the sky).
- Types matter: super effective ×1.5, not very effective ×0.75, and an immunity is ×0.5.
- Burn, poison, paralysis, sleep, freeze and confusion. Knockback. Switching has a cooldown and a short safe moment.
- Living arenas: two glowing circles per arena heal, cure, refill PP, speed up cooldowns, lift your speed or ready your dodge. Cover breaks.
- Evolve mid-fight: landing and taking hits fills a meter; evolving takes one second in the light, then your fighter is stronger and keeps its HP share.
- At 2:00 the ring starts to close. At 3:20 the team with more HP left wins.
